We remember daydreaming about opening a salon where our clients could feel at home and form genuine connections. Our friendship dates back to 2015, and we have always been on the same wavelength. We felt that the name Moxie was perfect for our partnership, especially since it was born during a time when the world was at a standstill due to the pandemic.
*Meredith is currently only taking on new referrals. New clients that book with us please add a note when booking saying who referred you.
"Sara really listened and she wanted me to come back a week or so later to get a glaze so that I would have it exactly how I wanted it for my high school reunion. Everyone in the salon is very nice and it’s small and intimate which makes it feel like a family. I highly recommend this salon!"
"Sara was wonderful!"

The Moxie Building
Our building has a pretty neat history. It was once home to Wise's Tavern, where George Washington was first publicly addressed as President on April 16th, 1789. Additionally, he celebrated the ratification of the Constitution here in 1788 and chose Wise's Tavern twice for his birthday celebrations. Talk about a local fav!
